7 positive things – week 11

Colmar encore :) Ils étaient troooop mignons ces ours!
1- Une vraie semaine tranquille (l’an dernier, Noël en famille s’était plutôt mal passé, donc cette année était volontairement… loin)
2- J’ai super bien avancé dans mon Caponcho!
3- Je fais et défais et refais des paniers sur Etsy, Laine-et-Tricot, Asos, Amazon et cie, mais je m’en tiens à ce que j’ai décidé: rien d’ici au 10 janvier!
4- Enfin, l’Homme a installé l’étagère de salle de bains qui attend depuis 2 semaines (certes, j’aurais pu attendre plus longtemps… mais quand même!)
5- Je commence à exploiter au maximum mon Life Planner d’Erin Condren, mon assistant personnel :)
6- J’ai quasi fini de sélectionner les photos que je veux faire développer pour enfin faire mes albums ^^
7-Et une Bonne Année à tous!

1- A truly quiet week (last Christmas with the family had been quite unpleasant, so this year was far, on purpose)
2- I’m going fine with my Caponcho!
3- I do and undo and redo carts on Etsy, Laine-et-Tricot, Asos, Amazon and co, but I’m sticking to what I decided: nothing until January 10th!
4- The Man eventually installed the bathroom shelf which had been waiting for 2 weeks (I could have waited longer indeed… but still!)
5- I’m starting to really use my Life Planner by Erin Condren, my personal assistant :)
6- I’m almost done with selecting the pictures I want to have developed to eventually make my albums ^^
7- And a Happy New Year to all!

7 positive things – week 10

À Colmar

1- Mon amoureux m’a fait la surprise de rentrer à la maison beaucoup plus que prévu!

2- J’ai passé une bonne journée en famille à Colmar, bien qu’elle ait plutôt mal commencé
3- Un super réveillon en amoureux, suivi d’un agréable déjeuner dominical et de Noël chez ma maman chérie ^^
4-Du repos, du repos et encore du repos
5- Marathon Harry Potter!
6- Je suis restée trèèès raisonnable sur la fin du mois ^^ Il n’y a plus qu’à tenir jusqu’à l’an prochain!
7- Cartes de voeux envoyées!

1- My Sweetheart surprised me with coming home much earlier than planned!
2- I spent a very nice day in Colmar with my family, even if it started pretty badly
3- Great Christmas’ Eve with my Sweetheart, followed by a very nice Sunday and Christmas lunch at my dear mother’s ^^
4-Rest, rest and more rest
5- Harry Potter Marathon!
6- I stayed veeeeeery reasonable around the end of the month ^^ Just keep it that way till next year!
7- Greeting cards sent!

7 positive things – week 9

 Un coucher de soleil au Kosovo, photo prise par mon chéri l’an dernier

1- Je travaille dur à élever mon seuil de tolérance au bruit et à l’agitation: j’ai ma filleule de 7 ans à la maison (ainsi que ses parents, et ce ne sont pas toujours les enfants les plus difficiles…)
2- Le début des vacances!
3- J’arrive à monter mes meubles Ikea toute seule (ok, c’était juste un marchepied, mais quand même ^^)
4- Je suis retombée en enfance dimanche en allant visiter le musée-aquarium de Nancy, où j’allais quand j’étais petite (mais entretemps, le mérou énooooorme qui m’impressionnait tant est mort et remplacé par des poissons-chats…)
5- Et au musée, il y avait une exposition de photos du photographe vosgien Vincent Munier, superbe
6- J’ai volé le temps d’une sieste avec mon amoureux ce dimanche, entre promenades et parties de bowling sur Wii endiablées (vu qu’il n’est là que le week-end, j’ai apprécié d’en profiter un peu rien que pour moi)
7- J’ai fait plein de gâteaux de Noël en attendant l’arrivée de la famille, retardée de plusieurs heures par les mauvaises conditions météo et la SNCF :)
Et vous?
1- I’m working hard to improve my tolerance level to noise and agitation: I have my 7-year old goddaughter at home (and her parents, too, and the hardest to handle are not necessarily always the kids…)
2- Start of the holidays!
3- I can build Ikea furniture on my own (ok, it was only a stepstool, but still ^^)
4- I went back to my childhood on Sunday while visiting the museum-aquarium of Nancy, where I used to go when I was a kid (but the huuuuuge grouper which impressed me so much back then is now dead, and they replaced him with catfishes…)
5- And at the museum there was an exhibition of pictures by Vincent Munier, just beautiful
6- I stole a nap’s time with my Sweetheart this Sunday, between walks and bowling games on the Wii (he’s only there in the weekends, so I really appreciated that time to have him just for me)

7- I baked a lot of Christmas cookies while I was waiting for my family, delayed by bad weather conditions and the French railroad company :)

 A la tombée de la nuit là où nous avons passé 2 super semaines cet été: la tenuta La Badessa
Just before night, where we spent 2 great weeks last summer: the tenuta La Badessa
1- Plus que 2 semaines avant Noël!
2- J’ai encore acheté de la laine pour un ou deux projets express ^^
3- Je n’ai pas regardé les infos (parce que vu que les mauvaises nouvelles font vendre, c’est tout ce qu’on voit en ce moment)
4- J’ai été raisonnable gastronomiquement parlant
5- Sauf samedi soir ^^ J’ai découvert un excellent restaurant près de chez Chéri: Franziskushöhe
6- Menu de réveillon de Nouvel An établi!
7- J’ai testé le kit lissage 3 semaines de Jean-Louis David, inspiré par le lissage brésilien. A voir sur le moyen terme!
Et vous?
1- 2 more weeks to go before Christmas!
2- I bought some more wool for one or two express projects ^^
3- I didn’t watch the news (because since bad news sell better than good, that’s all we get to see at the moment)
4- I’ve been reasonable regarding food
5- Except on Saturday night ^^ I found an excellent restaurant next to where Sweetheart lives: Franziskushöhe
6- Menu for New Year’s Eve planned!
7-I tried the 3-week hair straightening kit by Jean-Louis David, inspired by the Brasilian straightening technique. Gotta see the middle-term results!

Sept choses positives cette semaine…
1- Enfin, on reconnaît que j’ai besoin de repos…
2- J’ai passé une excellente soirée avec une vieille amie que je n’avais pas vue depuis plus de 10 ans :)
3- J’ai trouvé un très joli portefeuille en cuir chez un artisan, dans un petit village qui accueille un charmant marché de Noël, Sommerhausen (la page officielle de la ville ici, en allemand dans le texte)
4- Promenade très agréable avec un voisin des parents de Chéri, même s’il pleuvait
5- J’ai fini un joli col en laine rouge très fine et chaude, je l’ai étrenné hier et j’ai eu plein de compliments :)
6- Mon banquier m’a fait des excuses :D
7- J’ai pris une décision: pas de sapin de Noël cette année, pas envie et manque de place; je vais faire une belle couronne de Noël en branches de sapin avec des bougies, ça fera tout pareil ^^

Seven positive things this week…

1- Someone eventually recognised I need some rest…
2- Had a very nice evening with an old friend whom I hadn’t seen for more than 10 years :)
3- I found a lovely leather wallet made by an artisan in a small village which hosts a nice Christmas market, Sommerhausen (the official web page is here)
4- Very nice walk with a neighbour of Sweetheart’s parents, even if it was raining
5- I finished a snood in a thin and warm red wool, I wore it yesterday and got a lot of compliments :)
6- My banker apologized for his mistake :D
7- I took a decision: no Christmas tree this year, don’t really feel like it and no room for it in the flat; instead, I’ll make a nice Christmas wreath with pine tree branches and candles, that will do the trick ^^
