Birchbox Back To Cool

Ce billet fait partie des bousculés de l’emploi du temps, ceux que j’ai entamé puis pas terminés, mais que j’ai quand même envie de publier alors je me suis mis un bon coup de pied et je m’y suis replongée.
On va donc parler aujourd’hui de la Birchbox du mois d’août, la Birchbox Back To Cool! Ça fait quelques années déjà que j’ai quitté les bancs de l’école, donc je suis contente que ce ne soit pas « back to school » ;)

En plus d’avoir subi les aléas de mon agenda, cette box qui aurait du arriver très tôt a un peu traîné en route, mais ça s’est bien arrangé. J’en suis contente, d’autant que j’avais choisi de recevoir une version en particulier et que j’avais très hâte de la trouver dans ma boîte aux lettres! On pouvait choisir entre trois thèmes qui comprenaient chacun deux produits qu’on serait assuré de trouver dans la boîte: Le Cap-Ferret, Saint Tropez et Belle-Île; j’avais choisi cette dernière possibilité pour le shampooing Herbalosophy et le gel sorbet Sabon (j’aime beaucoup cette marque mais on n’en parle pas trop, vous la connaissez?).

Pour une fois, nous avons reçu un vrai livret avec la box, avec des infos, des astuces et de jeux pour l’été (soyez indulgents, je fais rarement ce type de collages dans Photoshop ^^ // c’est important d’avoir une marge de progression, non?). C’est une bonne idée, je trouve. Je n’en voudrais pas tous les mois, mais une fois de temps en temps ça apporte un peu de changement.

J’ai reçu tout un tas de produits chouettes dans ma Birchbox Back To Cool:

*Herbalosophy, Balance Shampoo: Pour une fois que j’avais envie de recevoir un shampooing ^^ Celui-ci est sans sulfate pour ne pas agresser le cuir chevelu, et sans silicones (mais il contient d’autres agents occlusifs). Je l’ai glissé dans mon sac de sport pour la prochaine fois, il s’annonce plutôt pas mal!
*Delarom, Crème Acquaconfort: J’avais apprécié le masque Aquaconfort, alors j’ai trouvé sympa de recevoir la crème de jour. Je l’ai d’ailleurs emportée avec moi en week-end à Londres et je n’ai pas regretté! Elle est très agréable à utiliser (matin et soir, pour prendre moins de produits), pas grasse et bien hydratante. La composition n’est pas parfaite, mais plutôt correcte quand même.
*Sabon, Sorbet: Comme je le disais plus haut, j’aime bien cette marque qui est encore peu connue. Leur huile de douche est particulièrement agréable, et ce gel-sorbet promet une texture légère avec beaucoup d’hydratation. J’ai hâte de le tester, même si le format pot (le même que celui vendu dans leurs boutiques, juste en plus petit) n’est pas forcément le plus pratique.
*Unani, Body Treatment Anticellulite Lotion: J’avoue que depuis quelques mois, grâce à tout le sport que je fais ma cellulite a presque disparu d’elle-même (rassurez-vous, j’ai beaucoup d’autres sources d’insatisfaction concernant mon corps), donc cette crème a un intérêt limité pour moi. D’autant qu’avec ce format, ça m’étonnerait qu’on puisse se faire une idée juste de son efficacité, mais pourquoi pas? Si je ne l’utilise pas pour me tartiner les jambes (pour l’hydratation seulement, du coup), j’en ferai don.
*The Balm, Balm Desert: Ah, les packagings rétro de The Balm ♥ (en passant, la marque sera disponible chez Monoprix à partir de septembre) La taille de l’échantillon n’est pas idéale pour tester le bronzer, mais c’est malgré tout un produit plutôt cool que je glisserai dans ma trousse de maquillage de voyage, pour quand j’ai besoin de toute la place que je peux économiser ^^ J’ai pris l’habitude dernièrement de mettre un petit voile de bronzer pour accentuer un peu mon bronzage (léger, je vous l’accorde) avant de sortir, ça tombe bien!

En résumé, la Birchbox Back To Cool fait bien le job. C’est pour une fois une box pour laquelle je n’ai aucun regret, pas de déception par rapport à certains produits… Et c’est plutôt chouette!

This post is part of the ones that got pushed aside by the unexpected changes in my agenda, the ones I started and didn’t finish, but that I still wanted to publish. So I gave myself a good kick in the butt and went back to it.
So today we’ll talk about the latest Birchbox edition, the Birchbox Back To Cool. Since it’s been quite a few years since I last went to school, I was glad it was no « back to school » edition. And « back to work » would suck just as much, since I hadn’t been on vacation yet when I got it. Anyway.

So in addition to being out of my agenda, this box took some detours before getting to me, but it all went well in the end. I’m glad about it, especially since I’d chosen a particular version and I was looking forward to receiving it! You could chose between three options that would all have two specific products in them: Le Cap-Ferret, Saint-Tropez and Belle-Île (all of them also being popular holiday destinations in France). I’d gone for Belle-Île because of the Herbalosophy shampoo and the Sabon sorbet (I love this brand but it’s not that famous here, do you know it?).

So for once we got a real leaflet with the box, with info, tips, and small games (be kind, I’m not used to doing this kind of collages on Photoshop ^^ // but it’s important to have room for improvement, right?). I think it’s a good idea, and even if I wouldn’t want it every month it’s still a nice change.

I got a whole bunch of nice products in my Birchbox Back To Cool:
*Herbalosophy, Balance Shampoo: It’s seldom that I actually want to receive shampoo! This one is sulfate-free to be gentle on the hair and scalp, and silicone-free (though it does have other not-so-good ingredients of the same type). I put it in my sports bag for next time, but so far it seems quite good!
*Delarom, Acquacomfort Cream: I liked the Aquacomfort mask, so I was happy to find the day cream. I took it with me on my weekend away in Londo and I didn’t regret it! It’s very pleasant to use (day and night, to limit the products), not greasy and very moisturizing. The ingredients list is not perfect, but still ok.
*Sabon, Sorbet: As I said, I like this brand that’s still a little unknown. Their shower oil is really good, and this sorbet-gel has a promising very light though moisturizing texture. I’m looking forward to trying it out, though the pot (same as the one sold in their shops, though smaller) is not the most convenient to use.
*Unani, Body Treatment Anticellulite Lotion: I have to admit that my cellulite has been MIA for a couple of months thanks to training and better eating (don’t worry, I still have many sources of unsatisfaction about my body), so this cream is not really for me. And also I’m not sure you can really have a good idea of its efficiency with such a sample size, but who am I to judge? If I don’t lather it on my legs for moisture, I’ll probably give it away.
*The Balm, Balm Desert: Oh how I love the retro packagings from The Balm ♥ The sample size is not the easiest to work with, but it’s nonetheless a fun product I’ll put in my makeup travel bag where I need all the space I can spare ^^ Lately I’ve taken to dusting a tiny bit of bronzer on my face before going out to emphasize my tan (which is light, I’ll give you this), so that’s perfect!

So in a whole, the Birchbox Back To Cool does the job quite well. I’ve had no regret or disappointment so far concerning the products… And that’s nice!
